Referring to Reala's journal, I happen to agree, only minus the very rude language and name calling... XD

It's great when people get their own version of NiGHTS going, but it's when they try to push it onto others and insist that it's official that it becomes inappropriate.

Your NiGHTS can be a yellow ghost of a hippopotamus if that's what makes you happy, but that's your version, no one else's.
Even if others like your version or have similar ideas, it's still not from the games and hasn't been endorsed by Naka or Ohshima or anyone else who worked on the game.


I hate it when people try to push their ideas onto others, whether it's fannish notions, religion, peer pressure, or whatever.
It's not right and it shouldn't happen.

And if anyone feels a need to moan and argue, then they've missed the message and spirit of the game, and I feel sorry for them because of that.

Wow, big day yesterday! NiGHTS insisted on showing me a few of pictures that were sent in for me.

What is it with Reala leaving his account logged in all night and all morning? That Nightmaren has been curled up resting wherever it is they go, for hours. And the account was still logged in.

Another awesome thank you goes out to my endlessly awesome sister in law and my brother, who sent me some books I've been wanting and a cupcake shaped bath fizz XD
(If you're not familiar, you drop those in the water and they make it all fizzy)

My younger brother also gets a thank you, for getting me the 3DS game I've been wanting all year!


And thanks also to my parents, who are supporting The Reala Show by buying me a better camera. HD videos coming up!

Very odd dreams, of which I can remember no details. But that's often the case when I'm sick, I lose my ability to focus.
I kind of think the siblings (NiGHTS and Reala) take the chance to make faces at me in my dreams...

I haven't looked at Reala's profile yet, but (s)he is conspicuously absent today, and NiGHTS' avatar and text color have changed. So it must be Reala Day!

A Reala Day without Reala... that's a new one. I guess Reala's too upset now that (s)he knows what (s)he looks like today!


Okay, no Earth Hour video. I was just too tired, so I slept right through it.
I wasn't feeling great this week, then Friday some friends came to catch tadpoles from my pond, so I helped with that and had to play hostess.
Yesterday I had to run out to buy Easter gifts for my nieces, who are coming to visit today for their grandfather's birthday (which was yesterday).

So I just had no energy and needed to rest up in order to be able to function today.
So yeah, no Earth Hour. Sorry.
Though since I was asleep and turn everything off anyway, it was still observed.



Today is Reala Day, so be sure to wear red, black, yellow, or blue. Any of those colors will count, red and black checkers are especially sought after today.

And if anyone sees Reala, please send me a PM! It's going to be a very strange Reala Day without Reala...!

NiGHTS has been borrowing my sewing supplies lately. I wonder what (s)he's up to?

Tomorrow's Easter! Goodness, I haven't even bought cake mix! I have to run!
Oh, PM me some ideas for what sort of egg cake to make this year. I've done Nightopian, Hollowpian, and normal Chao.

Ugh, all the pollen in the air is affecting me. I was coughing a little yesterday and today when I tried to sing, I lost control of the notes and then my throat was too dry for me to get any more out.

Which is a shame, because I really wanted to record myself singing along with one of my favorite singers.
I guess it'll have to wait... :\

Going by that last journal, Jackle apparently loves the rain.
Reala has expressed a fondness for thunderstorms, so I guess they have that in common. It reminds them of Wizeman, apparently.


Anyone who stays in contact with me will know by now that I am finally getting a pool.
This means that I finally have a place to keep Gulpo when that darn electric piranha arrives. Musashi, you should be happy.
Of course I might still just boot him to the pond and keep the pool for myself. In fact, I think I'll do just that.

Since NiGHTS and Reala can't morph as well on this side, they'll be keeping their distance. Unless I find a waterproof container for them, anyway.

And you've probably noticed the good news, that I have a new camera with better quality video!
The bad news is that it saves them in .mov and MovieMaker won't touch that format. I'm trying to find a solution for that.


Lastly, you may have noticed that I'm not as active lately.
This is because I was bitten by a deer tick (the kind that carries lyme disease) and am on antibiotics as a precaution. I'm not fully myself as a result.
But the Nightmaren are on often enough, and if they misbehave too badly, Puffy will definitely try to maintain order.

Wow, is it really so difficult to be pleasant and positive?
Reala reported difficulty with one of our members this morning, and unfortunately (s)he had proof that someone did indeed go overboard in replying to one of Reala's comments.

People, Reala is not the big bad troll here to pick on you. Reala is the owner of this forum, and the star of this show, and an administrator.
If you don't like Reala, you are on the wrong forum!

If you can't listen respectfully to Reala's corrections, then it is best to not reply at all.
Strikes are issued whenever anyone repeatedly breaks the forum rules, such as spamming (This includes excessive emotes) or lashing out at others, especially admins or moderators.


I have to say that I am very, very disappointed with the member in question, who I will not name. You know who you are.
I'm hoping to see better behavior in the future.

Puffy now tells me that she received an unpleasant note where this user has made false accusations.
Everyone, you all know that I as admin have access to every account on this forum. I have never abused the privilege, icons are only altered during events and everyone has the freedom to change them right back if you like.
Yes, I will give users a free icon if they do not already have one.
If you don't like it, is' very easy to change it to one that you prefer! (assuming that it is not stolen art)
Let's not accuse people of hacking just because the admin gave you a user image...

Things have been uneventful today, and that's good.
Please remember everyone, to not reply to old comments. Everyone else has moved on and forgotten about what was said a year ago, so let's just focus on the recent conversations.

I'm planning to do another Challenge video, but my camera keeps recording in .mov format, and MovieMaker can't edit that.
So until I figure out how to get camera videos to save as .avi or .wmv, this poses a problem.
I'm working on it though!

So one of our members overreacted, then decided to throw a public tantrum in Jackle's art topic.
I'm surprised at the extreme lack of respect or even a willingness to be part of the community.
Reala has banned this person for a week, and given the way that they've posted out of anger instead of cooling down first as any sensible person would, I have to agree with Reala's judgment there.

If this person returns and promises to be friendly from now on, we'll welcome him back.
If not however, it's a shame but it happens. Not everyone is a team player, unfortunately.

But the drama has been ended for at least a week and if it continues then it will be over forever.
So let's all just move on and try to focus on more positive issues, okay?

So many people have been stopping by the forum lately, and even though most never actually posted anything, it still makes me happy to see them.
I'm even happy about the number of guests we've had lurking. I've seen IPs from Japan, China, Poland, and Germany among others.

Here's hoping that this parade of visitors continues!

As you know I've been sick this month.
I'm mostly okay now, I just have no stamina. Everytime I do a project I have to rest afterwards.

But I am getting better, and I am checking in. I just don't always have the energy to post.

And I didn't get a single note, so it can't be because of my sickness.

I'm making some simple plans for the July videos. Just in case I run out of time or don't have enough energy.


Also, on June 20th I am going to be recognized for ten (really has been much longer) years of service to Princeton Friends School.
I attended the school from 4th to 8th grade, volunteered during my high school years, then came to work there formally and have been ever since.
So if anyone is in the area that week, feel welcome to stop by. It's a gorgeous property with lots of history!
Right next to the Princeton Battlefield.


June 20th is also the summer solstice, also known as Midsummer Night.
So it's a good celebration day.

I just upgraded NiGHTS to admin status.
Reala was the one who upgraded himself (by signing into my account when I was off) and for some reason, (s)he only made NiGHTS a moderator. Part of their rivalry, I guess.

Anyway, NiGHTS now has the authority to ban anyone breaking multiple rules. Knowing NiGHTS, (s)he probably won't want to use that power.
But it didn't feel right that Reala had more authority than NiGHTS here. So that has been fixed.


I'm finally starting to feel back to normal, so expect to see more activity from now on.
I'm not feeling very patient with anyone stirring up trouble though.
So I hope that everyone stays respectful and on topic.

I'm looking forward to next month. July 5th is NiD Day!

Someone seems to have impaled my calendar page with a threaded needle and a needle threader...

Also, there is a big machine gouging holes in the ground, to drain the area so the pool can be installed. Yay!
Lots and lots of rocks are being uncovered. This is why the place is called Rocky Farm.

If they're not utilized in the construction of the drainage system, I'm going to take those rocks and make a nice stone wall around the herb garden. That or I'll plug up the groundhog holes once and for all... darn groundhogs.

If anyone is unfamiliar, groundhogs are very bad. They dig through building foundations, eat garden plants, and are generally vicious and bad natured.
They are highly unwelcome here.

The reason why there haven't been any videos lately, aside from the fact that I was too sick for a long time, is that I'm saving my energy for the 4th of July/ NiD Anniversary video.
I'm going to combine the two since they happen one after the other.
It's a shame that even the most harmless sparklers and smoke bombs are banned here, or I'd have some special effects for the special. Though then again, with a pyromaniac like Clawz around, even those could become dangerous XD


Construction continues on the pool location, so if all goes well you will get to see the TRS cast enjoying the water.

Feel free to note me or post a topic with any ideas for the specials. If I think they'll work and I have time, I might use your ideas!
And if anyone attends a fireworks show and gets any videos or clear pictures, those would be a big help.

I'm disappointed that I only got one comment on the secret video, and that was here on the forum.
I need some reactions if I'm going to make videos, guys! When you give me nothing, I don't know if it's because you don't like it or you're just being lazy.

I don't know if this guy's trying to troll me or what, but the comment I just got on Rugal's shout out video really makes me question some people.

They asked if making their own NiGHTS and Reala dolls was supporting the show.
Making dolls is awesome and I'm all for it, but how is that supporting the show? They're not contributing anything, or advertising for us.
Pretty much, they're just expecting to get attention for not doing anything.


I'd like to remind everyone once again that just saying you support the show doesn't actually support the show.
If you're too young or too broke to buy dolls or donate anything, you can still tell people about the series and advertise it.

Just don't spam anyone's profiles, please. And don't use my profile as a place to advertise for me. I can do that for myself, thanks

So Reala and Jackle told you about the storm already.

Well the only casualty seems to be my cable box. My tv goes on, the sound is perfect, but there's no picture.
Unless I put in a dvd or videogame, and then it works perfectly. So clearly it's not the tv itself. So it must be the cablebox.

The cable guy will look into it next week.



In other news, remember my adorable little nieces? You know, the ones who love to torment Reala?
They're visiting tomorrow for a belated Father's Day celebration, so I'll be busy amusing them.
I'm out of vintage MLP to show them for now, so I'm thinking of introducing them to Rainbow Brite instead. or maybe The American Rabbit, since the 4th of July is only days away.

Okay guys, I'm really burned out. I've been going nonstop for the past few weeks, so i need you all to do me a big favor, and lay off.

Seriously, just give me a break!! Enough pretending that Reala is abusing anyone, enough whining about the lack of videos, just enough.
I was going to upload the 4th of July video today, but no one is giving me a break!


So if everyone will just use your imaginations to pretend that I am entitled to the same basic rights as every other human being, I can try to get my energy back to where it was.


Otherwise I'll have to start banning the instigators again.

Jackle seems to find it hilarious that the head I had pinned onto one of my plush projects came loose.
It's a wonder that he hasn't reacted to me shoving stuffing inside.
