NiGHTS and Jackle... again? Every once in a while, that can be as bad as NiGHTS and Reala!
And seriously, guys? Nobody on this forum has seen enough episodes to know what sort of relationship NiGHTS has with the other Nightmaren?
There's an as yet unseen video for whoever gives the correct answer!

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
Hey all,
Just a reminder that whining and griping won't get you anything from me. If anything, it will delay whatever I've been working on.
I've had a couple moaners being negative because the Madlibs isn't up yet.
Someone on this forum even tried to make a stink about me having a job a while ago... seriously?
Here's the deal guys, I keep saying this and it keeps getting ignored -
I make The Reala Show to be nice. I don't get paid to do it, I barely even get a "Thank You" for doing it.
So when you give me a hard time for volunteering my own personal time to do something for free, for you, you're only making yourself look bad.
Please don't make the mistake of thinking that the internet is a place to go for all your entertainment and socializing. It's not.
Offline life holds far more potential, so while you're waiting for a TRS video, try going outside.
Build a little house out of twigs, climb a tree, or just sit and watch the clouds go by.
It's a proven fact that people who spend time outside tend to be happier than those who spend most of their time at the computer or television.
But trying to make me the bad guy because I put earning money so I can feed myself above making an internet series that nobody appreciates anyway - is completely unacceptable.
So quit it!

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
I can finally breathe without wheezing or hacking, so I'm back.
I still don't have much voice though, so it'll be a little while before I can record.
Since my family's gotten a little bigger, I'm already starting to plan out my birthday this March 8th. January's about over, so it's only a month away.
So nobody younger than me is allowed to call yourself old, got it? That's everyone on the forum since I'm the oldest here.

I'm out today, going to Terhune Orchards for their Wassailing of the Apple Trees celebration.

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
What a night, I just couldn't get into that deep, restful sleep. I had a dream about lightbulbs bursting.
I'm still tired, but I've overslept already so I can't do much about that. :/
Edit:
Sweet Dreams! NiGHTS!!
Hold tight, I've got this... see? It's not so negative!

I actually almost cried when Spyn stood up for me in one of the topics.
Not that anyone actually attacked me, but people online have been unreasonable, and Becky is going through a difficult phase, and real life is hectic...
To have someone understand that and say so just means the world to me.
Thank you, Spyn

Still pretty worn out from all the negativity, both online and offline.
Those who live in my area will know exactly why I'm so depressed. Something very sad and tragic happened not long ago.
But life goes on, so I'm dealing with it.
Starting to plan out the Valentines video.

Back inside from running with Becky in the blizzard! She really loves snow.
You know who else likes snow? You might be surprised, but maybe not... NiD fans, you remember who Takes the Snow Train... right?

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
Well that was bizarre...
Some idiot posted a comment to my youtube channel, calling me two racial slurs among other insults.
(I'm not even descended from either ethnicity, nor have I engaged in any discussion since people are just people to me...)
The comment attacked me "and my kids" ...which I don't have, unless this moron meant my viewers?
That's pretty bad when the attacker can't even land the hit! I'm so glad he aimed at me instead of someone less confident.
Seems like they're just an angry, sad person who's lashing out at anyone they pass on youtube.
I've reported them of course, but if anyone else has been called names or been similarly attacked, please let me know so I can help.
Youtube makes it extremely difficult to report other users, but it's worth it to remove racist, hateful people like this from the site.

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
My shoulder's wrenched from carrying the chicken feed. I really have to build some steps to the coop this summer! Right now I have to lurch over the gap to get into the coop, and it puts a lot of weight on my joints.
This will be a busy year for me, I have so many projects to work on.
And I'm feeling a tad emotional right now. Some of the sentiments that came in for the anniversary charmed me.
Thank you to everyone who made that possible. You're the ones w- ok, NiGHTS just sprinkled glitter in my hair... i see that someone's feeling fine now! XD
As I was saying though, you're the ones who inspire me to keep the series going. Stay positive and we'll make it to next year's anniversary!

Weird dreams last night. What was up with the space shuttle? And the babies?
At least I know who to blame for really messed up dreams... NiGHTS...

I'm leaving the farm today, for another farm!
I used to volunteer at a historic farm, and today they're demonstrating how tree sap is boiled down into delicious maple syrup.
I've done it before of course, but never as a visitor!
If anyone is near Howell, NJ today you should definitely come and join me at Howell Farm!

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
Reala has made a fatal error, everyone.
Last night, NiGHTS didn't make it back to the room, and I had a dream try to become a nightmare.
The dream failed to rise above an unpleasant feeling however, because it was a water dream. What Reala failed to remember was that water soothes me.
So when the waves swelled and overflowed, I dreamed up a raft and rode it, and actually managed to have fun.
But first B, then NiGHTS, and now an attack on my dreams?
Big mistake, Reala!

I know that I said I'd be taking my birthday as a personal day... but then something occurred to me!
I'll post a video later if this works...
Sorry to be so cryptic, I don't want Reala to catch on!
Edit: It worked!

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
NiGHTS is definitely not at his best at the moment.
Last night's dream involved the Rocking Roadster, from the Jem cartoon, driven by She-Ra.
Now granted I used the He-Man theme in my last video, but where did the rest come from?
I think I'll blame that one on the birthday cake...

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
That was an awesome birthday and party!
My parents gave be a beekeeping set, which includes a hive box!
My brother and his wife gave me a metal detector, which is great for finding lost arrows, and old treasures hiding in the woods - George Washington marched through this area, so maybe I can find something good.
My younger brother and his girlfriend gave me the Wreck it Ralph dvd, so it's been a good year!
And today I went out and tapped two red maples with the gear I bought at Howell historic farm a little while back. It's already flowing!
So it was nice to have some fun, it's been a while since I got to do something for myself. It felt good!

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
Weird dreams last night, water again.
I was at the beach with the waves lapping unusually high, and I was feeling where the sand had been struck by lightning and made doughy and leathery - which is weird because in real life, lightning forms glass tubes so you get little sand sculptures.
I ended up scrambling for the steps up to the boardwalk because the water was getting so high - ever try to run in very wet sand?
Then I was in the Sonic cartoon and a buzz bomber zapped someone. Only instead of getting hurt, they gave off a red mist and went limp, saying that it didn't hurt but they were suddenly very weak.
What it did was send them unconscious, and their conscious self went to a different dimension.
Might be an idea for a NiGHTS/Sonic crossover... XD
There was more, but I only remember bits. Like sitting in a circle at some community event in some hotel, and afterwards having to clean their kitchen - and Robin Williams was there for some reason...
Then it turned into PeterPan, only it was a sequel and not a bad one.
and I put some egg yolks in a cat dish, to be nice.

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
That was a very nice night of sleep!
I had a fairly entertaining dream about another Avengers movie. I can't remember many details, but Tony Stark was in some old refurbished car that was supposed to be very rare and very classy. And the floor felt like soft foam.
NiGHTS seemed to be in a good mood last night, and the amusing dream is evidence.
I wonder if NiGHTS found a clue for us?

I can't do the attitude guys, I'm exhausted and stressed. I don't need to get griped at because videos aren't all public yet.
I'm out. See you tomorrow. Grow up.

Today's lesson - don't try to make up nonexistant rules for my series. It'll bite you.
I hope that everyone who celebrates had a great Easter! I know I did, even though I ate a little too much...
I'll have photos up of this year's Egg Cake soon! It was delicious.

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
Wow, it's been a long time since I made a new journal entry!
I am so exhausted right now.
I had to free an opossum that had gotten trapped in my Have-a-heart trap, and somehow gotten its jaw stuck in the bars.
I actually had to get wire cutters to get it out! Fortunately the trap still works fine.
I released the opossum safely in the woods. Hopefully it'll tell the others to avoid my property from now on!
Now I'm assembling a toy sink for my nephew. It's ridiculous, though.
They have divets instead of holes to screw the parts together.
Plus it is so humid today that I swear I can't work on it for five minutes without starting to sweat!
I mind the humidity so I'm not feeling too hot, plus I got stung by a bee two days ago and have a swollen thigh as a result.
I was more upset about accidentally killing a bee, my hive needs every worker!
But busy busy busy! I might make a video for Memorial Day, but no promises.
We'll see how the week goes.

Re: Cornsilk's Journal
I'm currently fighting a battle against my lack of motivation. Probably the gloomy weather.
Don't get me wrong, I love rain! Storms are very soothing for me.
But this is hot, humid weather with the occasional cloud burst. And the news is that conditions are right for a hurricane... my property hasn't fully recovered from the last one!
So I'm partly in survival mode at the moment, gathering batteries and bottled water and such just in case.
I need to get a device with 4G one of these days, so I don't get knocked offline everytime the power's out. I can borrow my mom's iPad if I need to, but it doesn't fit my hand crank charger so I'm always hesitant to use it except for monitoring the storm.
But anyway, I'm not going to worry about a storm that hasn't even happened yet. I'm a Yellow Ideya holder, after all!
I don't want any of you to worry either. I'm very well equipped if anything does happen!
The bees have fully settled into their hive box now, although the rainy weather has them less than happy.
I'm waiting for the sun to come out before I lift their lid to see how much progress they've made.
They've gone through two jars of sugar water already!
