Those poor bees! The winter was just too much for them... I hope SiLK made enough wax to get by, but now what's she gonna do?

What is SiLK sick with? Maybe I can find some home remedies for her.

I'm getting better, don't worry. If i can just beat this cough I'll be much better.

The power just blipped here. I already scheduled a blog update for midnight tonight, so even if I lose power you'll see something new.

And come on guys, it's too quiet! I'm already working on a new video in addition to my farm chores and being sick. You're making me post more than usual, just to keep the forum from turning into a ghost town!
Spyn is the only one who I can count on lately when it comes to regular posting, and even he's been too busy to be very active...

Silk, If You are Ill, shouldn't We respect Your Privacy? You need to Rest if You are going to beat Your Cold. Stressing about things that are out of one's control will only make Your Illness worse.

Right Now, getting Well should be more important than the forums. As much as I like Updates & New stuff. Your Health is to come first right now.

Well, let's hope that Foulbrood isn't the case. I'd imagine SiLK put a considerable amount of effort into that hive. I've never heard of Foulbrood. Is it like contamination?

As for symptoms, that's not really much I can use to look it up. Sorry. Your cough, however, can be remedied with simple honey and lemon. Ginger helps, too. I also read that mint and eucalyptus leaves help, too, but I wouldn't imagine that you had any eucalyptus leaves. Heh.

And leave it to Reala to turn gratuitous praise into an opportunity to be a jerk. And to a veteran member, no less. Nice, Reala.

Wow....ugh! It's like a zombie bomb for bees! No wonder SiLK's concerned. Now I really hope that isn't the case.

I'm not too concerned, it's highly unlikely in my situation. My beekeeper friend who caught my swarm for me lost two of his own hives to the weather.

The Nightmaren certainly were excited to see me active at night, though... I hope they don't think that it's permanent!

Nice to know SiLK's feeling a little better. I don't have many decent NiGHTS fans to talk to anymore...

It looks like I wouldn't have much to talk about on that forum, DR. Those peoples are "hardcore" NiGHTS fans, and they tend to be not really open to creativity, as my history with such fans have proven.

Tonsillitis?! But, that reduces appetite! I just couldn't bare it if I had to stop eating!

Fortunately, there are several home remedies to try, like gargling warm salt water, eating smooth foods, or taking lozenges and pain-killers. I haven't seen a humidifier/mist machine yet in her room... One of the things is also getting plenty of rest, and NiGHTS can help with that, I'm sure.

I hope that SiLK pulls through.

I'm back from the doctor. She thinks that it's an upper respiratory infection, so it's not as bad as I feared.
I'm still in poor condition though and needing lots of rest and fluids.

I promise I'll do my best to have a video up for Valentines Day, but I have no voice right now so I'm not sure how to make up for that...

You should make sure to keep your room warm, SiLK. And avoid cold & dry air if you can help it. And be sure to take gargle some warm salt water. You can also use a warm towel on your face. And be sure to drink lots of water and juice. No caffeine!

Well, at least she's been taking care of herself. I just hope it doesn't take too long for her to recover. Prolonged symptoms may be hazardous to her.
