I agree as Twilight Sparkle's mother looks like the original Twilight.

Yes, Twilight Sparkle was apparently intended to be Twilight, but since Hasbro has lost the rights to many of the G1 names, she had to be changed.
Just like Fluttershy is actually the G1 pony, Posey. But her cutie mark was changed slightly and she became a pegasus.
And of course, Spike hasn't changed at all except that he's less pink and now has some magic ability to teleport things via his flame. XD

I like MLP. I love how Fluttershy is so sweet. My friends say ii am like Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash... I guess it's true too. Lol!

Silk is definitely most like Pinkie Pie, she loves to see people smile!
I do too, but RainbowDash appeals more to my sense of adventure, plus she flies like me!

My friends say I'm hyper like Pinkie Pie. I think it does fit though I can be sweet like Fluttershy and kinda tomboy-ish like Rainbow Dash. I wish I could fly.. That would be awesome and easier to get around.

Please try not to roleplay, Miyu. Since we're all typing, there's no way that you heard Jackle.

Jackle means Ditzy Doo, or "Derpy" as the majority of fans seem to call her.
I like to stick with the name she originally went by. It was used in the Winter Wrap Up episode.
from what I've seen, she's a very cute, very clumsy little pony. And no, she isn't obsessed with muffins, she just said "Muffins" in one episode and the kids took that and ran with it...

Yeah, what a mean name for such a nice character! I don't know the word all that well, but "derpy" seems to mean stupid, or deformed. Ditzy is a much nicer name, it only means clumsy or a little forgetful.

It would be easier for me to use the original ponies. I have a stuffed Firefly that I've been restoring, as well as a whole bin full of the original toys.

I can definitely imagine NiGHTS singing the songs from G1 and G4 though! Smile

There are three offical plushies of Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie & Rainbow Dash that are sold at walmart & target. You could use those for a crossover.

I'm not interested in buying those toys, DR. If someone commissions them I'll make them and use them in an episode, but otherwise, I only have G1 ponies.
Besides, I really don't think that the official plushes look all that good. They're kind of dumbed down, like baby toys. Not my style XD

Ditzy was actually called Derpy in the Season 2 episode The Last Roundup as a way for the creators to appeal to the fans however it didn't go well with parents. For one the voice actor made her sound like she was special (on accident because the voice actor mistaken her for a boy so was trying to do a boys voice) and another was the, fact she was shown to be accedent prone. So parents got the idea that the creators of MLP were making fun of special needs kids

The episode was removed from ITunes a week after it was released and put back up on the 24th of Febuary with Ditzy/Derpy's scene altered where Rainbow doesn't talk to her by name, different voice actor and her eyes were less wall eyed.

Yes that's true, but that was only because the kids refused to acknowledge that she was originally Ditzy Doo. And the voice actor didn't help, but I find most of the fault lies with the fanbase, and with the Hub for giving in when they already had a loose plan in mind for her.

Ditzy has always been a clumsy but well meaning little pony, and I find her to be endearing.
She can only ever be Ditzy Doo for me.

I agree with NiGHTS. Though I haven't really seen the original My Little Pony.. But like some TV shows to movie situations.. Such as Dragon Ball Evolution..... They...messed a lot up... I know this is a My Little Pony thread but it's just an example..

There was a My Little Pony movie back in the 80's, but I'm not sure that that's what you mean?

Though that was an awesome movie, it was cute and funny but still dark enough to be interesting to everyone.
I loved how back in the 80's and early 90's, cartoons respected kids more.
Modern shows seem to assume that kids aren't intelligent.

but the best MLP ever was the pilot episode, "Firefly's Adventure."
You had a scary villain, dragons, and creatures that looked like they were meant for the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.
And of course, the original MLP had their human friend, Megan - who was awesome!

I get that FiM wants to be strictly ponies, but I do miss Megan.
And with all the dragons, griffins, cockatrice, minotaurs, and other creatures, I'm sure they could slip a human in there... it'd be fun if only for a cameo. Smile
