Actually Reala if you cut the tree correctly you can keep it alive. But it dies eventually. Because Its a beautiful thing to see in a home. (I don't really know ask Silk.)

No, a tree that's cut cannot take in nutrients and dies. That is why trees are often killed by having a circular cut made around their trunks, to cut off the nutrient flow. Just because I'm not from this ridiculous waking world does not mean that I don't know trivia such as this...

Don't worry about it Layla, I think Reala just got caught up on the first part of your post and didn't properly see the rest. Nightmaren eyes get a little sensitive with all the Christmas lights around XD

There is no way to keep a tree alive once it's cut, but with proper care you can keep it green and holding its needles. That's what you meant, right?
