Yes, NiGHTS, of course we love you! Yet I also bet there are plenty of NiGHTS fans who do not know your day. Come to think of it, there could be a lot of fans of other characters who appear in video games who don't know their days. I mean, I've never heard of Ulala day... but she must have a day, the day Space Channel 5 came out.

and it isn't just SEGA characters that fans don't know the days for to name a few Spyro, Gex, Mario even Link. I bet non of there fans know of there days unless they look up the day there games come out.

Good point there, I know that there are more than just SEGA heroes that have their own days. It was just Ulala was the first one that I thought of, since she only had two of her own games, and so does NiGHTS to a degree. I was a Mario fan for quite a while, and I've never celebrated, "Mario Day," on September 13th.

I haven't celebrated any video game character day or any character day. However I am planning on celebrating Bionicle day on December 30th when it comes since I do the Toa Show and I'm sure many other day celebrations will follow.

I think that NiGHTS' point was that NiGHTS into Dreams was such an achievement and still so valued by Yuji Naka, that (s)he feels more people should respect that.
NiD was the game that defined the Saturn and it was NiGHTS who graced the display at EPCOT that year.

I don't think that Mario or the rest can claim quite that much, even if they have accomplished a lot.

But before this gets off topic, let's just focus on NiGHTS' concerns here.

We know, Reala. We're just trying to console NiGHTS because s/he was upset at first that N&S didn't know about the day.

Well, I think it depends on whether Yuji Naka came up with/dreamed up all the characters himself or if it was individual characters being created by different artists.

If Yuji Naka thought all of them up by himself, then it's almost certain that NiGHTS Day is actually in honor of all the characters, since they would've been born at (relatively) the same time. However, since NiGHTS has his/her name on both (or all three, if you count Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams) games, that's probably why it's NiGHTS Day and not All of the NiGHTS Characters' Day.

However, if the characters were not all made by Naka and were thought up by separate artists, then that's a different story....and a bunch of dates that would be very difficult to correctly pin-point without any behind-the-scenes stuff or interviews with the original team that made NiGHTS into Dreams.... ^_^;

Well the more reasons we have to celebrate something NiD related, the better.

I finally made that point into an official rule, but I don't expect it to come up much. We all know better than to post only a couple words.

Silly NiGHTS, do you doubt me? When the game is 15, I'm going to have a full blown party, with balloons and music and playing the game, and a big special!
And that's just for starters.

It's a year away, though. So let's focus on the here and now, okay?

I may have Tahu and the gang do a video for NiGHTS day I'll have to see what I can do for it.

Oh, OH! I'm sorry I know when your anniversary was I thought NiGHTS day was something else. I normally just call it your birthday, I've never heard people call it NiGHTS day until now so, sorry if I upset you NiGHTS.

Well, I guess that's what makes him/her well, him/her (gee it's weird to type that.)

I've noticed it too NiGHTS Reala has acted more mean then before at fiirst I thought it was normal but now I think something is wrong with him/her. My guess is (s)he's hiding something under all that something (s)he doesn't want any one to know.
