I think Wizeman would be able to figure it out. Especially if he notices Reala's voice lost some of its..eh...masculinity, and he sees NiGHTS being mean.

Maybe a theory...
Wizeman could be Rezo...in a way
Wizeman would be Shabranigdo.
Reala would be Rezo.
Shabranigdo was sealed in Rezo.
Wizeman used his power to create Reala, so Technically Part of Wizeman is inside Reala.
Plus Rezo's outfit reminds me of Wizeman

Wizeman reminds me of the giant green head from Oz, not the person controlling it.

You're thinking of a jackal. Jackle's name is more a play on his signature cackle, I think.
I had a friend speculate once that Jackle's name is Jester and Cackle mixed up.
I personally don't really go for the jester comparison, but Nightmaren are different for each person, so I can't complain. But I'm all for the cackle part, Jackle sure does like to screech! XD

That's what a lot of fans speculate, which leads to the thought that NiGHTS represents dreaming and imagination, to contrast Reala's reality.
