That was a very nice night of sleep!
I had a fairly entertaining dream about another Avengers movie. I can't remember many details, but Tony Stark was in some old refurbished car that was supposed to be very rare and very classy. And the floor felt like soft foam.

NiGHTS seemed to be in a good mood last night, and the amusing dream is evidence.
I wonder if NiGHTS found a clue for us?

I can't do the attitude guys, I'm exhausted and stressed. I don't need to get griped at because videos aren't all public yet.

I'm out. See you tomorrow. Grow up.

Today's lesson - don't try to make up nonexistant rules for my series. It'll bite you. Smile

I hope that everyone who celebrates had a great Easter! I know I did, even though I ate a little too much...
I'll have photos up of this year's Egg Cake soon! It was delicious.

Wow, it's been a long time since I made a new journal entry!

I am so exhausted right now.
I had to free an opossum that had gotten trapped in my Have-a-heart trap, and somehow gotten its jaw stuck in the bars.
I actually had to get wire cutters to get it out! Fortunately the trap still works fine.
I released the opossum safely in the woods. Hopefully it'll tell the others to avoid my property from now on!

Now I'm assembling a toy sink for my nephew. It's ridiculous, though.
They have divets instead of holes to screw the parts together.
Plus it is so humid today that I swear I can't work on it for five minutes without starting to sweat!
I mind the humidity so I'm not feeling too hot, plus I got stung by a bee two days ago and have a swollen thigh as a result.
I was more upset about accidentally killing a bee, my hive needs every worker!

But busy busy busy! I might make a video for Memorial Day, but no promises.
We'll see how the week goes.

I'm currently fighting a battle against my lack of motivation. Probably the gloomy weather.
Don't get me wrong, I love rain! Storms are very soothing for me.
But this is hot, humid weather with the occasional cloud burst. And the news is that conditions are right for a hurricane... my property hasn't fully recovered from the last one!

So I'm partly in survival mode at the moment, gathering batteries and bottled water and such just in case.
I need to get a device with 4G one of these days, so I don't get knocked offline everytime the power's out. I can borrow my mom's iPad if I need to, but it doesn't fit my hand crank charger so I'm always hesitant to use it except for monitoring the storm.

But anyway, I'm not going to worry about a storm that hasn't even happened yet. I'm a Yellow Ideya holder, after all! Smile
I don't want any of you to worry either. I'm very well equipped if anything does happen!

The bees have fully settled into their hive box now, although the rainy weather has them less than happy.
I'm waiting for the sun to come out before I lift their lid to see how much progress they've made.
They've gone through two jars of sugar water already!

Wow, dead forum...  It's summer, guys!  I know some of you still have reasons keeping you away, but most of you have no excuse!
Come on, get back here!

I'm just glad to have internet today.  NJ was hit by a pretty big storm yesterday and it resulted in some flash flooding.
I ran out to close the coops when the sky darkened and it started getting windy, but the rain came down all at once and I was drenched by the time I'd closed both doors!

Today I'm engaged in the ongoing war against the encroaching groundhog forces.  They have invaded the chicken run, and must be stopped!

I saw purple frosting at the store yesterday.  I was tempted to get it, but the ingredients freaked me out a little.

I got a sympathy card from the vet.  It made me miss Pie all over again.
Her brother, Barney has been "talking" a lot more lately.  He's working his jaw like he's trying to form words.  Maybe he is, I have no idea how smart he really is.

I'm preparing for the 4th of July, I found glow bracelets with red, white, and blue in them.  The colors bleed into each other a little, but who really cares if they're more red, blue, purple, and pink?
And right after that is NiD Day, which I haven't prepared for in the least with all the drama over here...
I need to come up with an idea for that...

I'm off to get my compound bow adjusted today!
When I get home I'll focus on some video ideas. I had some prerecorded but I fear they were lost when my computer crashed.

As Reala pointed out, there are black bears migrating in my area right now, so I'm avoiding the woods until they settle.

I was choosing some incense and essential oils at the supermarket, when a little girl called something that I didn't quite catch, but I turned and she was excitedly indicating me to her father.
So I smiled warmly at her before resuming my shopping. I don't know if she recognized me or was reacting to something else.

But this made me wonder - if anyone saw me in public, would they recognize me as Silk from the Reala Show?
It could happen, but I'm curious now.

So, I'm going to start carrying little trinkets from the show with me.
Silly things, like Reala's stubble or the anti Valentine candies (Don't eat them!!), or NiGHTS' Halloween costumes.
Little props I won't need again.

If anyone spots me, I'll give them the item that I'm carrying.

I have a TRS prop in my pocket!
I will be at Duke Gardens tonight, in my home state of NJ. I'm going on a bat walk!

If anyone there recognizes me as Silk, they get to take home whatever the TRS item is in my pocket!

I'm preparing to bake my second ever apple pie.
My sister in-law's dad is celebrating a birthday while he and his wife visit from France, and he requested apple pie for dessert.

I'm going to use two types of apples, and cut out leaves and acorns to dress up the crust.
And it's going to be all organic!!

Musashi should be interested in this, knowing his love of apple pie... Smile

Hm, so there's a little confusion about the TRS blog.
In the introductory video on the blog, Reala mentioned that (s)he might consider letting the STN team on it at some point.

One member misunderstood and thought that a new character was coming, and another has already written in to one of the STN members.

Unfortunately, neither should have happened. even if the first is true...
The blog is TRS only right now. I'd actually like to keep it that way and if enough requests come in, give Sonic Team News their own blog.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning!

There's a chance that I might lose power, so nobody worry if that happens. I'm very safe where I am. Smile

In other news, anyone visiting northern NJ in November should stop by Princeton Friends School for the artisan market!
I'll be there selling paracord bracelets.

Well that stung like a slap...

the old "I can't record sound!" lie, when every single PC comes with Sound Recorder!

Look, if you don't want to help me, just say so. Please don't lie to me!
Because honestly, the lies sting far more than the refusal to participate in TRS.

Very few people are coming online lately, so I'm going to try an experiment...

Everyone who sends a PM (private message) to any cast member between now and Saturday, will receive a signed picture drawn by that castmember!
So if you send a note to Reala, then Reala will draw something for you and sign it!

This offer ends this Saturday the 23rd, at noon EST!
I will most likely never make this offer again so it's very, very special and one of a kind!

Only three members were loyal enough to get their one of a kind, autographed castmember art... wow!
Those are three very lucky people, because this won't happen again!

I'm sorry to anyone who missed their chance, but the deadline has now passed and no more art will be drawn.

The three who got in will receive their art within the next few days.

Not long after I uploaded this video to youtube yesterday, I received an email asking for permission to share it on their site. I said yes!

Blizzard!

It is snowing heavily and my internet is running slowly.
If I'm not on for a day or three, it means I've lost internet and/or power.

But being the prepper that I am, that won't be a problem. Smile

I wish that I'd had more time to sleep this morning, but I had to be up to watch my nephew.
Not that I really mind, because my nephew is awesome and I love him!

He had to leave early though, since it is snowing and becoming more and more dangerous outside.
I'm beginning my blackout preparations, just in case... I have plenty of air activated hand warmers! Plus the wood burning stove if it's really bad.

I hope that everyone else is safely inside and warm during this blizzard. It is not a good day to be out and about!!

You know what I really miss?  The original Digimon toys.
I had mine for years until it finally went missing.

I don't suppose that anyone has one they'd be willing to sell...?  With or without working batteries.

For that matter, I wouldn't mind one of the original Tamagotchi toys, but Digimon was more enjoyable for me.

So if you have a digital pet Especially an original Digimon or Tamagotchi! that you'd be interested in selling, be sure to drop me a PM!

I'm still looking for an original digimon or tamagotchi toy, from 1997 or so.
If I manage to buy one, I'll even give the seller their own dedicated episode of TRS!
Cash and your own episode. Not bad, right?

Please help me if you can! (I'd really love two digimon toys, so I can have them interact!)
