Easter Eggs
Easter Egg in the media sense, is described as this:
"Easter eggs are messages, videos, graphics, sound effects, or an unusual change in program behavior that sometimes occur in a software program in response to some undocumented set of commands, mouse clicks, keystrokes or other stimuli intended as a joke or to display program credits."
This applies to all media, not only videogames. Dr Who fans for example, love a special easter egg hidding in the dvd menu, that shows the doctor's Weeping Angel speech from the episode, "Blink"
Anything that isn't obvious or that you have to search for, may be considered an easter egg.
There are many easter eggs in the TRS episodes. These have nothing to do with the storyline, they're just there to amuse the viewers.
The last easter egg was Waldo (or Wally to you people in the UK), waving in the barn loft. This was a joke, since we were there to look for someone.
Past easter eggs have included Jackle's horse form laying in the backdrop, the Nightopian, during the time when it went missing and had not yet been recovered, and brief appearances by Silk's nieces.
Feel free to share any easter eggs that you find in the show.
Just don't make the mistake of assuming that they have any purpose other than to make you smile.
